We are looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to staff our growing team and contribute to the further improvement of our services!
Duties:
- Responsible for the continuous and correct operation of the company’s IT systems (servers, network, backup etc)
- Monitor the performance and performance of servers and network
- Select, install, configure, optimize, and resolve hardware & software problems
- Schedule and run updates & upgrades
- Provide Level 3/4 technical support to customers and users
- Documentation of procedures, policies and how-to for organizing & increasing efficiency
- Availability for out-of-hours work for very urgent events (sporadic)
Necessary qualifications:
- High know-how and problem solving capability
- Appetite for work & collaboration in a demanding environment
- Responsibility, consistency and organization
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work items
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar position
Required knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge of Linux (Centos / RHEL)
- Good knowledge of Apache / NginX, MySQL
- Good knowledge of DNS, FTP, email servers
- Good firewall knowledge (iptables)
Optionally:
- Virtualization (OpenVZ / Virtuozzo, KVM, Xen)
- Shell scripting
- Good knowledge of web hosting control panels (Plesk, cPanel)
